If you’ve been a member of AMTA and been an elected chapter or national volunteer you may be eligible to run for the Board of Directors.
If you’re a massage therapist who’s never thought of becoming part of a membership organization, joining one like the American Massage Therapy Association might appeal to you.
The AMTA is largest non-profit, professional association for massage therapists. It offers liability insurance, education courses, career guidance, publications, events and networking with a community of other massage professionals and much more (including discounts on purchases through Massage Warehouse).
Find out more about the voting process and why it’s so vital for massage professionals to take part in making their member organizations the best they can be.

“Give back to the massage therapy profession by applying to serve on the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) 2018-2020 National Board of Directors! Applications are due September 8.
If you have been an AMTA professional member for at least three years and have served as an elected chapter volunteer, or an appointed or elected national volunteer within the past three years, you are eligible to be considered for the AMTA National Board of Directors.
If you meet these eligibility requirements, consider serving on the National Board of Directors. The application is the first step in a rigorous process designed to help find AMTA members whose personal and professional strengths create the strongest national board team while considering diversity and inclusion.”
